Golf has a wonderful and rich heritage, but it's overdue for a breath of fresh air. Birdie wanted to bring glamour and style to the sport with a line of fashionable young womens' golf clothing and accessories. Using the mid-century modern personality of Palm Springs as inspiration, everything created for the brand reinforces a sense of sophistication, optimism, and delight. Even something as simple as a hang tag had to offer more than just pricing and a bar-code. Each tag is a pairing of a badged board and a blind embossed envelope that has a surprise message within. Both pieces are cleverly held together with a single strip of clear vinyl. This project was completely handled from positioning to textile patterns and clothing graphics.
