At the time I made this, my friends and I were working on found ephemera scrapbooks. Cutting up old National Geographic Mags, taking photocopied type and making these great rudimentary compositions. I loved the look and process of the scrapbooks and wanted to take it a little further adding a concept that really took advantage of the gritty hand made aesthetic. For this book I took the first three chapters of Genesis and correlated it, image wise, with the creation of virtual worlds in video games. In this case I used Pac-Man, an old favorite. The project ended up being a real labor of love. I did everything from making the paper with pulp and screen to binding it and distressing to give it the feel of an old pocket bible.
